Shutterfly Design Portal
The content team reached out to UX to help update and reorganize some areas of the Design Portal CMS to be more intuitive and user friendly while also bringing in some of the standard Shutterfly branding elements. I had no previous experience working on a content management system experience so I enjoyed the challenge.

Lead UX Designer

Outcome
User friendly interface for adding and editing product content

The goal
Update the old user experience (shown below) for adding and editing product design content to be more user friendly.

Category tree updates
After meeting with the content PM and engineering lead for requirements, I worked on some mockups for updating the category tree interface to give more visibility to the list item information. This included quick links to edit and view the category pages, and bringing more focus to the category editor as a modal with a more organized form to easily add or edit categories.

Design group editor updates
For the design group editor, the team wanted to reorganize and simplify the content navigation by replacing the accordion lists with a tab interface to quickly get to the design content. The list items were also updated to have quick links to easily edit various attributes and tags.
